2025/26 After School Care:
Happy Quails is excited to continue offering our Wednesday after school program to elementary aged kids this upcoming school year! Our program begins August 13, 2025.
We meet Wednesdays 12:30-4:30 at DeLaveaga Park
After school classes are for K-5th graders and are $50 per class. Sliding scale available, email if interested.

Preschool Quails:
Happy Quails Preschool is back by popular demand! Our preschool will run from September 11- December 15, twice per week on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00-1:00. We will meet at various westside and midtown locations including: Natural Bridges, Westlake Park, the Arboretum, Neary Lagoon, Seabright Beach, Delaveaga Park etc. Cost for the program is $60 per day.
Children must be toilet trained to attend.
Daily activities may include: songs, stories, games, hikes, creek play, looking for salamanders and banana slugs, digging holes, building fairy houses and lots of time for imaginative free play in nature!
We will have 2 teachers, Brenna "Turkey Tail" and Nereyda "Seed" and 6 preschoolers in our group.
Example of Preschool Daily Schedule:
9:00-9:30 Trickle in arrival- We will have activities and toys available to facilitate a smooth drop off.
9:30 Opening Circle- We will introduce the theme of the day. Examples of themes are: feathers, flowers, generosity, tiny creatures, discovery, observation
9:45-10:30 Discovery Hike and free play in nature!
10:30 Story Time and snack
11:00- 12:00 Nature Play and connection, plus activity of the day: this could be a treasure hunt, a puppet show, building fairy houses, water play, so many things!
12:00-12:30 Lunch and Creature Feature- each day we will read a book about a different local species
12:45 Closing Circle
1:00 Pick Up Time
Cost Details:
September (6 classes at $60) = $360
October (9 classes at $60)= $540
November (6 classes at $60) = $360
December (5 classes at $60) =$300
Total Cost= $1560
Total Days= 26
The start date is flexible, but the above info assumes a start date of September 11 and an end date of December 15. Let me know if you have additional questions!
